Arnab Goswami says NDTV made him apologise to a politician - still angry about it (video)
Former Times Now editor Arnab Goswami is still angry about an incident that occurred 20 years ago.
In a speech on Wednesday in Jaipur he recalled an anecdote that went back to days when he began his career.
He was a reporter for NDTV at the time. He stood before Gate Number 4 of the Parliament and waited for the Law Minister Ramakanth Khalap.
Ramakanth Khalap, a senior Goa politician held the post in the short-lived Deve Gowda government.
When he came, Arnab Goswami asked him a ‘straight forward’ question. Instead of answering, Ramakanth Khalap called NDTV which instructed Arnab Goswami to go back and apologise to the minister.
Arnab Goswami was in Jaipur to take part in an event organised by Dainik Bhaskar.
He began his career with The Telegraph but shifted to NDTV in 1995 after a few months in print.
