Account holders throw stones at bank, attack another, block highway in Gujarat - note ban pain (3 videos)
In three separate incidents in Gujarat on Saturday villagers pelted stones at a bank branch, locked up another bank and blocked a state highway.
They were protesting banks inability to provide enough cash following demonetisaion, reports DNA.
* Account holders pelted stones at a branch of Dena bank in Khimana village in Shirohi taluka of Banaskantha district.
* Account holders locked up a branch of Bank of India at Modhwada village in Porbandar district.
* Account holders at Dhrol town and nearby villages of Jamnagar district blocked a state highway for a few minutes disrupting traffic saying banks in their area were not giving them money.
In all the three cases police had to be called in to manage the situation.
