Audience cheer Arnab Goswami in Bangalore - promises to fight corruption, corporate media, possibly reservation (video)

Former Times Now editor Arnab Goswami met with a rockstar reception at an event in Bangalore on Sunday. The audience gave him a roaring approval when he asked if they would back his fight against corruption and giant corporate media which was using dirty tricks against independent journalists. He also vowed to fight for merit, which is possibly code for opposing reservation, on which also the urban audience lustily cheered him.

Arnab Goswami was taking part in Under 25 Summit, an event organised by Bangalore-based media owner Rajeev Chandrasekar, who is rumoured to be investing in his new TV venture, Republic.

After quitting Times Now Arnab Goswami has been going around the country giving sneak previews of Republic, which hints at re-packaging the same high-decibel formula which made him a TRP phenomenon.
