Behind the scenes: Kapil Sharma fought with Chandan Prabhakar as well on plane – not just Sunil Grover
Media is agog with reports that Kapil Sharma allegedly fought with colleague Sunil Grover during a return flight from Australia and even assaulted him physically.
As a fallout he is reportedly set to quit the show, though Kapil Sharma has denied assaulting him.
SpotBoye’s Vicky Lalwani has a report on the behind the scenes trouble that was brewing in the Kapil Sharma team.
Trouble had reportedly started right at the beginning of the Australia show and it involved Chandan Prabhakar, said to be close to Kapil Sharma.
In Sydney, he objected to the way Kapil Sharma was speaking to him in the backstage, which escalated into a war of words between them.
The fight got out of hand and Kapil and Chandan Prabhakar did not perform together in Melbourne, notes SpotBoye.
As Kapil Sharma allegedly continued with his abuse, Chandan Prabhakar checked out of the hotel where the show's team was staying. Kapil Sharma reportedly told him a few times that he was on the show because he was his friend.
Trouble flared up again when Chandan Prabhakar rejoined the team at the airport for the return flight. Kapil Sharma began taunting him again which worsened after he got drunk on the flight.
As the crews and passengers were taken aback with Kapil Sharma’s behaviour, it was left to the senior member of the team Sunil Grover to try to speak sense to him. He told him that it did not suit him to use foul language in public.
The infuriated Kapil Sharma turned on Sunil Grover.
Ironically, Kapil Sharma and Chandan Prabhakar are said to be close friends. Last year, a generous Kapil Sharma had even allowed him to take part in another comedy show as it was airing at a different time slot.
