Sunil Grover is a little crazy, but I did not beat him up on plane, says Kapil Sharma
Amidst reports of Kapil Sharma beating up his colleague Sunil Grover comes a denial.
Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Kapil Sharma called the reports rubbish.
He described Sunil Grover as his elder brother, who was also a little crazy. But the news of the assault was false, he claimed.
But the usually talkative Sunil Grover refused to comment, when approached by several publications.
The incident had allegedly occurred during a return trip from Australia where both had gone to perform.
Kapil Sharma had got drunk and beaten up Sunil Grover without any provocation, reports Spotboye.
He had also reportedly shouted at him saying “Tu hai kaun? Tera show flop gaya tha, tu mera naukar hai, tu Australia nein bhi jo show kiya khude se woh flop tha…”
The passengers and the crew were shocked to see the two celeb fighting.
Sunil Grover reportedly did not retaliate and just took the abuses and beatings, but later unfollowed him on Twitter.
Kapil Sharma admitted to Bollywood Bubble that they fought a lot.
The equation between Sunil Grover and Kapil Sharma have been strained.
Sunil Grover had quit Comedy Nights With Kapil Sharma and tried to start his own show with Manish Paul, Mad In India. While his show flopped, Kapil’s show also witnessed a dip in the TRPs. On realising that they both needed each other, they re-united.
The controversy has exploded on the day Kapil Sharma had admitted to being in relationship with girlfriend Ginny.
