Mia Khalifa, the ex-porn star with her trademark glasses is one of the most followed and googled porn stars on social media.

Recently, there has been a lot of buzz about her having the much feared HIV virus, so much so that the fake news went viral and was trending worldwide.

The rumors started after a website made up a false conversation with Mia regarding diseases which are transmitted by sexual acts.

In spite of being the victim of such a horrible rumour, Mia tried to remain calm and at first responded with a comic post, using the stills from It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, where Danny DeVito's character used AIDS as an excuse to skip a long line.

Mia tweeted along with the post, " Jokes on y'all, this is gonna be me next time the beer line is too long at a hockey game".

However, a lot of people were offended by this as they thought she was making fun of a sensitive subject like AIDS.

It was then that Mia decided to release a full and final statement where she clarified that she didn't have AIDS saying that she was hurt because even people close to her had called her up asking the same.

She also added that she doesn't get laid as much as people would think and that there should be a limit to everything, even to the rumours and malicious posts about her on the internet.

For someone like Mia who has even got death threats before for practising porn, Mia said, " I don’t usually let mean-spirited things about me on the internet get under my skin. That’s a skill I’ve had to develop over time. But I’d be lying if I said this didn’t hurt me."

She also added: “I get laid way less often than you’d think.”

The closest thing to intimacy in her life right now is when her roommate is washing her sheets and sleeps in her bed!
