Pregnant mother refuses cancer treatment to save her baby - dies after child birth
Danielle Janofsky, a pregnant mother, died after she refused to take cancer treatment to save her baby.
Danielle had a cancerous mole which was removed back in 2015.
However, when she went for one of her regular check ups in February this year, she got to know that she had melonama, a kind of skin cancer which can spread to all of her body and which had already started spreading.
As she was expecting at six months, starting cancer treatment would have led to termination of pregnancy.
She decided to refuse cancer treatment and bring her baby to life.
Danielle gave birth on 24th February and passed away three days later, reports Mirror.
Her mother, Barbara wrote a heartfelt tribute to Danielle's family on Facebook after her death.
In the post, her mother wrote how Danielle was a warm and loving person and their happy family was growing with a little girl Avery and the coming baby, Jake.
She also added that if love could have saved her, she would continue living for a hundred years.
They have set up a fundraising page for Danielle's two children, Avery and Jake.
