A cobbler, Prakash Chand, in Rajasthan has reasons to be happier than a millionaire.

His daughter Anjesh Kumari has scored 97.60% in Class XII Boards beating all odds.

Anjesh Kumari of Ponkh in Jhunjhunu scored 100 in Biology, 98 in Chemistry and 93 in Physics. She got 95 and 96 in Hindi and English, reports Daily Bhaskar.

While other top-scoring students celebrated their success, Anjesh Kumari was reportedly very calm, choosing to take it in her stride.

As the family was extremely stressed financially, Anjesh Kumari had to work  in her father’s shop  repairing shoes.

She would spend time in the shop during the day working and devote early mornings and late nights to studies.

The arrangement reportedly continued during her exams as well.

A mishap occurred in the middle of exams, which would test the mettle the family was made of.

Prakash Chand met with an accident and had to be hospitalised with a broken leg the day Anjesh Kumari had English paper.

An immensely upset daughter refused  to take the exam. Her parents reportedly prevailed upon her and   her mother personally took her to the exam centre.

Anjesh Kumari wants to become a doctor, a dream she deserves to live through, if adequate help comes by.
