In disturbing video, Ghaziabad woman thrashes man with lathi– he dies later in hospital

A young man beaten up by a woman in Ghaziabad allegedly for making obscene phone calls to her has passed away.  The victim Padam Singh is said to be 25 years of age, and the woman, Ragini, 36.  A video of the incident from May 16th available on the social media is truly disturbing.

A young man beaten up by a woman in Ghaziabad allegedly for making obscene phone calls has passed away.

The victim Padam Singh is said to be 25 years of age, and the woman, Ragini, 36.

A video of the incident from May 16th available on the social media is truly disturbing. 

In a crowded room, Padam Singh is made to sit on the floor, after which Ragini starts thrashing him with a huge stick. 

He starts wailing and tries to hold the stick in his hands to stop the beatings in vain.

She then jumps on the body of Singh who by then is lying on the ground.

The voice of even a child is heard in the background.

The Hindustan Times reports that she had made a call to Padam Singh, and when he arrived at her home, he was caught by her husband, relatives and friends.

Padam Singh's brother claims that his brother called Ragini since she had promised to get him a job, and the family does not know what happened after that. 

He said that after the beating, Ragini called him from his brother's phone asking him to come and pick up Padam from her place.

Padam Singh was hospitalized and passed away later on May 21st.

The police have arrested her husband, Ragini has gone absconding.
