The details of Buxar district magistrate Mukesh Pandey’s death have been revealed .

Apparently, Mukesh had informed his relatives that he was staying at the Leela Palace hotel and was going to commit suicide at the Janakpuri District Centre in New Delhi.

His sister-in-law then rushed to the police station and filed a missing person complaint after her father told her that his phone was switched off, reports The Hindustan Times.

A team was sent to the hotel but his room was locked from the outside. They then informed their colleagues in Janakpuri to look out for Mukesh but they couldn’t find him either.

The CCTV footage of the City Centre showed that he had boarded a metro at the Janakpuri station. Then they were informed that a body was found on railway tracks in Ghaziabad which turned out to be Mukesh’s corpse.

He had left a note on him that directed them to a backpack in his hotel room which contained a 4-paged detailed suicide letter.
