Justice Markandey Katju seems to have softened up on social media, where he does not make news the way he used to.

He has stopped accusing fellow justices of corruption or incompetence, or confessing crushes on late chief ministers.

But the fire in the belly continues to smoulder.

In an interview with Asia Net he  called for a total revolution.

All institutions have failed – there is no hope of Parliament functioning well ever again and half of the judiciary is corrupt, he says in an interview with Manorama news.

Politicians are rogues and scoundrels. They have looted the country and should be shot.

With massive inflation, unemployment and lack of development, the country is heading to a revolution.
Everything has to be destroyed and rebuilt, he thunders.
